You know what I love about love? That it’s unstoppable. That it’s resilient. I love that love is determined, and that it’s willing. I love that love says, “I don’t care if 300 people can’t be there, I want to marry you. I want to spend the rest of my life loving you and I want it to start now, not later.” I love that a pandemic didn’t stop Sydney & Trevor from saying their “I Do’s.” I love that no matter what came their way, they kept their eyes locked on each other, full of joy and gratefulness.
It was a complete pleasure to capture the Niles Wedding in the middle of a pandemic. Although we met for the first time on their wedding day, it was nothing but warm vibes and celebration. You could feel the love that Sydney & Trevor have for each other, and every time I asked them to gaze at each other, it gave us all the feels! Their whole family was so warm & kind and inviting, and we all hit it off right away! We also found out that they (Sydney, Trevor & my hubby Chris) all went to Winton Woods High School together! Such a small world!
Sydney was a dream in her floor length gown and took everything in stride, even as she was told she had to wear her mask down the aisle! She grinned and said, “well, that’s what happens when you get married in a pandemic!”
I had already loved all of our interaction leading up to the wedding, but it was this moment that made me completely adore Sydney and her resilience. She was focused on the most important thing, that she was about to marry the love of her life! It’s this type of outlook that keeps brides (and grooms) full of joy on their wedding day, and no amount of mishaps or surprises can take this from them!
The ceremony was brief and sweet, and presided over by one of the funniest ministers our team has encountered! Afterwards, the whole crew headed to the beautiful P&G Gardens in downtown Cincinnati where we took some absolutely stunning portraits of the newly married Mr. & Mrs Niles! Trevor couldn’t keep his eyes off his bride as we made our way around the gardens, happily gazing at her and adoring her in almost every shot!
Sydney & Trevor, thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of your beautiful wedding day. It was such a blessing to witness your nuptials, and to take your first portraits as husband and wife! We wish you many years of love, joy & wedded bliss!
Love,
